Research

My current research focuses on gender differences at the behavioural level in Autism Spectrum Conditions. In particular, I have investigated the often delayed and misdiagnosis of autistic females, paying particular attention to mental health difficulties and the use of camouflaging. I also have a passion for mental health research and exploring the lived experience of mental health difficulties and use of services within my work.
